How long have you been part of the Olympic family and what attracted you to work here?
I joined Olympic in 2008 as an Assistant Accountant. I went on parental leave in 2010 and ‘worked’ full time for my family for four years due to the health issues of my premature twins. I then came back to Olympic as Systems Accountant and moved to the Power Platform Team in 2021.
Olympic provides a flexible work environment for me to balance work and family, also the opportunities to quickly obtain the latest technical knowledge and skills.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Kindergarten teacher
How do you relax in your time away from work?
Gardening, baking, listening to music, watching TV
What song can you listen to and never get sick of it?
Dream it possible
Are you a morning or a night person?
Night person
What is the best concert you have attended?
Disney on Ice (LOL)

How long have you been part of the Olympic family and what attracted you to work here?
I've been part of the Olympic Software family for 6 years now. Initially it was everyone’s down to earth, very approachable, and friendly manners that made me want to be part of the team. Since then, I have come to love the trust, support, and flexibility Olympic gives me when it comes to getting work done and having the time I need for my own family. I also love the fact the Olympic team is such a multicultural diverse mix of people of different ages, professional backgrounds, interests, and hobbies, so there is always someone to ask for help and talk to about my interests.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Originally from Denmark, and a keen interest in languages, I wanted to become an Interpreter so I could meet interesting people and see the world in the process.
How do you relax in your time away from work?
I am an active relaxer who enjoys doing fun things with my wife and daughter, roller skating, baking bread and exploring New Zealand.
What song can you listen to and never get sick of it?

Are you a morning or a night person?
Morning person
What is the best concert you have attended?
Wow, hard to pick one. Two standouts for me, first, seeing the band called ‘LIVE’ perform was amazing. The second and by no means less impressive was seeing the Cuban band Buena Vista Social Club. Both are amazing bands with impressive musicians that give off lots of positive energy when they perform.

Physical books or ebooks?
Both really, when I’m at home I enjoy a physical book and on the go it’s great to have an ebook handy for those in-between moments.
Fiction or non-fiction?
Again, its both for me, although if I had to pick one I couldn’t live without it would be non-fiction.
